Cabo de Palos is a lovely traditional Spanish fishing village and a stunning location to own a property because it has beautiful scenery and the picturesque fishing harbour is surrounded by wonderful seafood restaurants and bars to create a fabulous atmosphere.

Cabo de Palos has a lighthouse and is small peninsular extending into the Mediterranean and is on the edge of the Calblanque Nature Reserve.

The Sunday market at Cabo is one of the biggest in the area

The beaches are soft and sandy, in places there are small coves, but on the other side of the peninsular they are long and wide

There is a great Chinese restaurant, beach café bars, cocktail bars, and it is a must for The Eve of the Three Kings

The Village Festival takes place in August and there are parades for Easter and Christmas

The village has three supermarkets and a large ceramica shop

Within easy reach of the safe shallow beaches and waters of the Mar Menor

Cala Flores is on the edge of the Calblanque Nature Reserve, which offers secluded golden sandy beaches, with pure nature and no commercialism
