Chris Whent – Sales Director

Chris Whent runs the Murcia Villas La Manga office specialising in Property Sales.  Chris has been living in Murcia full time since 2007 with his wife Jane.

He and Jane set up and ran Murcia Villas La Torre before moving back to their own home in La Manga to run the La Manga office. With his honest and professional approach, Chris has taken property sales for the office in Los Belones from strength to strength with a record number of sales achieved this year despite difficult economic circumstances.

Prior to their move to Spain, Chris had a successful career with Nat West Bank, working from a number of their offices in the South of England and in particular he enjoyed his time working for the bank in the Channel Islands.

Starting out as an office junior in the main Southampton branch, his career then took him to Jersey where he carried out a variety of roles including foreign exchange dealing and share trading on behalf of corporate and personal clients of the bank. After a short spell back on the mainland he was seconded to Guernsey to expand his experience working alongside a Senior Manager.

Chris then gained promotions to become a Senior Personal Bank Manager working in the Portsmouth and Guildford areas. His last role with the bank, after a rewarding 28 year career, was as a fully qualified Financial Adviser.

Having fallen in love with the La Manga area, Chris and Jane bought a house in Playa Paraiso in 2002 and spent many a happy holiday there with family and friends before deciding to make the move to Spain permanently.

Chris enjoys keeping fit at the gym and cycling. He also has a passion for motorbikes and is a keen Southampton FC supporter.
